January 2008
Most of those who have
participated in previous Unity festivals will be pleased to know that we have
once again scheduled our festival to NOT coincide with the Syracuse Jazz Fest,
while Unity Church will once again be the location -- 300 West Seneca Turnpike,
a heavily trafficked street in the “Valley” east of Onondaga Hill. Vendor
space is limited. Please apply as early
as possible (and no later than April 30th) if you wish
to participate this year.
This festival is intended to
celebrate the incredible creativity that our participants so beautifully
exhibit and that we all possess within.
Thus, any demonstration of your work would be especially meaningful and
appreciated. The cost for an outdoor 10
X 10’ space is only $50, indoor variable-sized space is $65 (with possible access
to electricity for a small fee). There
will be no end-of-show contribution expected from you. New this year is a requirement that tables be
covered.
While this remains a juried
show requiring photos or slides of your work, there is no jury fee. Only quality, handcrafted items and highly
regarded healing arts professionals will be selected as appropriate
for this show. Food will be for sale on
site and at nearby restaurants throughout the day. Thanks for your interest in this event. Please feel free to contact me with any
questions you may have, before or after submitting an application. We look forward to a fun and profitable day
with you.
Sincerely,
Nancy Hazzard
